T.I.S.M.
What's a T.I.S.M.?
That may be the first question that you are asking.
TISM is short for 'This Is Serious Mum'. They are a Melbourne bandwhich
have been around for several years but have had few good songs and less
hit songs. They are however my favourite band at the moment.
Why?
Because music is not only about how many 12 year old
girls you can attract. TISM's songs may not all be the most musical
but they all have a message and many of them are entertaining. They
do not take their music seriously and are happy to offend almost anyone
(except Christopher Skase). They wear balaclava's at all of their
shows and the actual show is the best and most entertaining that I have
ever seen. The band consists of seven members of which just a couple
are there just to 'dance' and they always wear a new costume on every tour.
Are you serious?
Yes, I highly recommend that anyone who has the opportunity
to see this band go and do it. I've seen them at four different venues
around the country and they were great at all of them but the best at Monash
Uni in 1995.
